The Drum Major Instinct (preached February 4, 1968 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Atlanta) is among MLK's most-significant late sermons, two months before his April 4 assassination. Based on Mark 10:35-45, treats the proper-religious-political "drum major instinct" of service. Famous closing was played at his funeral.

Is the universe running out of usable energy?
The heat death of the universe — entropy maxed out, no further work possible — is among the more sobering implications of mainstream physics. Whether it is structurally inescapable depends on what kind of finitude the cosmos has.
Both time and matter are unbounded; 'running out' is misframed.
