Habermas's 1992 systematic statement on law, democracy, and discourse theory of politics
Between Facts and Norms (Faktizität und Geltung) is Habermas's 1992 systematic statement on law, democracy, and the discourse theory of politics. The book applies the communicative-action framework to legal and political theory — arguing that modern democratic constitutional law is grounded in the principle of discourse and the rights of communicative participation. The work is Habermas's major statement of his political philosophy.
