Intersections

Pairs of loci

28 combinations of 2 of the eight loci. Each intersection shows how personas and schools cluster when two doctrinal questions interact — e.g. who holds both Independent polity and hypothetical-universal atonement?

What intersections show

The Westminster ontology has 8 loci, each with its own attributes. A single locus (e.g. "Soteriology") tells you where a persona stands on calling, justification, faith, perseverance, and assurance. But the interesting patterns appear when two loci interact: does someone who holds supralapsarian decrees also tend to hold Independent polity? (Thomas Goodwin did; Samuel Rutherford didn't.)

Each pair below opens a page showing the joint clusters: the distinct combinations of attribute-values across both loci that at least one persona or school actually holds. The biggest cluster is usually the Westminster baseline on both loci; the smaller clusters are where the departures happen.
