Missing dimensions: Time, Observer

Space, matter, energy, and information together constitute the complete physical data layer of reality: the spatial distribution of material-energetic systems and the informational content they encode. This is the universe as a physicist might describe it before introducing temporal dynamics or conscious observers: a snapshot of all physical data, all material-energetic configurations, all informational content, frozen in spatial arrangement.

Without time, this quadruplet is static — a single frame of a movie, a snapshot of the physical data layer. Without the observer, it is unread. The tension is between the richness of the spatial, material, energetic, informational structure and the absence of anything to set it in motion (time) or to know it (observer). It raises the question of whether physical-informational reality can be meaningful without temporal process and conscious awareness.
